My friend, Mark Hensman (search him on UA-cam) built a Christen Eagle in his garage, that was so cool when he took me for a similar flight. He has an MX2, or did, and is an exceptional pilot. He was one of my gliding instructors. He was a lot less gentle than Mike is here, hahaha.
